ABOUT DAN TOUSIGNANT
Experience matters. Knowing how to apply it matters more.
I have spent decades helping organizations improve how projects, products, and teams perform through consulting, coaching, and training.
That experience has taught me that the best training is not built around one framework. It is built around the people, work, and outcomes that matter to the organization.
FOUNDER, CONSULTANT & TRAINER
A CAREER BUILT AROUND PERFORMANCE
From methodology to practical application.
Over the years, I have worked across Agile, traditional project management, Lean, product development, organizational change, and leadership. I have developed and delivered courses for many different audiences, while also working directly with organizations to solve real delivery problems.
That combination matters. Consulting showed me where standard approaches break down. Training taught me how to make complex ideas clear, relevant, and usable.
Today, I focus on selective training engagements where that breadth of experience can make the greatest difference.
01
Decades of experience
Training is grounded in years of consulting, delivery, leadership, and organizational problem-solving.
02
Broad perspective
Content can draw from Agile, Lean, product, and traditional project management practices.
03
Fit-for-purpose design
The goal is not more content. It is the right content, shaped for the people who will use it.
HOW I APPROACH TRAINING
Build around the outcome, not the label.
A course should help people perform better after the session is over. That starts by understanding the work they actually do.
Start with the performance need
Clarify what participants need to understand, decide, or do more effectively.
Select the best practices for the situation
Use the methods that fit the work, rather than forcing the work to fit one methodology.
Make it specific and recognizable
Adapt terminology, examples, exercises, tools, and artifacts to the organization.
Keep the focus on application
Participants should leave knowing how to use the ideas, not simply how to describe them.
Looking for training that fits the way your organization actually works?
Let’s talk about the audience, the performance need, and the right learning experience.
